The Place Bureau was created to inspire us all to imagine new frontiers for places around the world.

We’re a network of explorers, researchers and visual storytellers, drawing insight and stories from around local communities the world.

9-5 we run The Place Bureau as a placemaking studio. This blog is our 5-9 — our playground for sharing all the amazing places we go behind the scenes, and the people we meet.

The big changes the world needs to transition are happening on a local scale everywhere — we just need to know how to look for inspiration.
